Viking Period Hand Spit

Our Viking hand spit is based on a find from Lund, Sweden. It measures 48" long with a 12" cooking surface. These are wonderful for doing game hens and small foul over the fire. Having a flat blade and tines built into the unit, it is easy to secure what you are cooking. These feature a long twisted handle and a leather hanging loop. We finish these with a vegetable shortening pre-seasoning. Please allow up to 3 weeks before shipping.
